Meet Theodore Abbott—a CapU graduate and candidate in Vancouver’s 2025 by-election for City Councillor. Growing up in East Vancouver, Theodore shares how the gentrification of the city, the community at his alternative school, and his experience with Capilano Students' Union have shaped his commitment to advocacy and activism.

How different is it to run in a student election vs. a civic election? Why should we care about local politics? Why is it important to get organized with our communities? In this video, Theodore answers these questions and more!
